It is Monday. I move on Saturday. My apartment is a mess. My mother and sister have arrived to offer assistance in the packing process. It is a disaster. The two of them hate me. I am having trouble with a project at work. And I missed my friend Paul's wedding. How am I to go on? Ugh.
My Life...Who needs it?
This is just a little insight into my life. I hope it gives you a giggle or whatever.

Just Before Class...
Hi all. Just dropping a quick line before I head to class. I've been doing a lot of reasearch on Brownfields. Very interesting stuff. So, there is a girl in my next class who has to affirm everything the instructor says. You know, he'll say something and she'll make this "mm-hmm" noise. And it's really loud. She'll even go so far as to say, "that's right" or something. It's worse than those people that nod in agreement with the instructor. Ugh. I don't like it. I don't like it one bit.

Where have I been?
I'm not sure if anyone is still checking on my blog, but those of you that are will notice that I have been absent for quite a while. Sorry about that. The sememster started and whisked me away to a land far, far from here. A land of natural resource management and program evaluation. Some of the land was scary, causing great distress, while other parts were lovely and inviting. Actually, I was just really lazy and didn't post anything. Not that anyone really cares. Ok, so I am back. New semester. It's my last semester, theoretically. I'll graduate in May, hopefully with a job in line, and I will not be in school anymore. It's sad, really. I've been in school for a long time...since I was 5 years old. But, it is time to leave Nevernever land and grow up. So, hopefully you'll hear about a job interview or two and then the aquisition of employment. That would be nice, eh? I hope you're all well and keep checking this out. I'll do better; I promise.

I was all Yellow
Hello all. Some of you may have heard that I was recently hospitalized. Had my gall bladder removed. Stupid thing...really screwed me up. Turned me yellow (now my theme song, thank you Cathy, is Yellow by Coldplay) and now I have a scar across the right side of my belly. It's cool, though, the scar. I'm ok, now...not to worry...not that any of you are ... as you know that I am ok. I still have tube hanging out of me, though, which is strange. The hole where the tube comes out is a bit sore, but nothing I can't handle, as I am a strong woman who can handle such things. Hope you are all well. I will post all my trials as a new semester starts.

World Stage
I am sure there are millions of blogs that have some comment or another regarding the World Cup. Well, I am no exception. However, I am not going to bore any of you with why my team (England, by the way) is going to win this year. My biggest issue with the World Cup is the coverage. As I live in the United States, you can imagine all they human interest stories surrounding the United States National Team. Now, if this were not enough, Brett Musburger (I know I am spelling that name wrong) is now an announcer for World Cup on ABC. WHY WHY WHY???!!!! Like I don't have enough problems in my life, I need that piece of crap kissing the US soccer teams' ass?! He hardly knows anything about American football let along soccer. Does ABC hate me? Does ESPN not realize that their announcers have an obligation to report on ALL the teams? It is like watching tennis when John McEnroe is announcing and an American is playing. It doesn't matter if that American is playing Rafael Nadal on clay, John McEnroe is going to talk about how great that American is and why he should beat Nadal. Further, I find it a little difficult to understand the announcers for World Cup when they have their lips tightly pressed to Landon Donovon's ass. Other than that, I am enjoying the World Cup very much and am looking forward to being in England during the final two weeks. Hopefully, England will be in the final...all the better.

Soccer Moms of the world, unite!
I really need to get this off my chest. For all you hipster boys, and you know who you are, stop with the soccer mom hair-dos!!!! You know, the backcombed, hair shell that many a young man has been sporting lately...knock it off!!! For the love of Holy Christopher, there is so little in the world for a soccer mom to identify herself. She is all about her family. Her childrens' activities, her husband's immaturity...all she has that is all for her is her hair. Her ridiculous, rat nest hair...it is all she has. And she's damn proud of it. So, please, I beg you, stop with the soccer mom hair, boys. It really doesn't look that good. Trust me.

Play Ball!
This is a picture of me resting my eyes at a Detroit Tigers' game last summer. I was sleepy. It doesn't seem to matter where I am, if I am sleepy, I will fall asleep. I've fallen asleep at Michigan football games, Michigan State football games, baseball games...I even fell asleep at a Cure concert. Fortunately, there is always someone with me, so the chances of someone walking away with me are pretty slim. So, to all who sit with me while I sleep, I thank you.
I decided to post this picture in response to my Tigers having the best record in all of the Major Leagues. For years, I have been telling people, "This is their year, man." In the past, this statement was met with snorts and hearty laughs of disbelief. And I realize it is only June, the beginning of June at that, but even the biggest skeptic has to admit that the Tigers are exceeding all expectations. I'm very excited about their season. Unfortunately, living in Bloomington, Indiana, I do not have access to Detroit sports, unless the game is played on a national station. Fox Sports Detroit does not make it down here. (I'm really glad I figured out how to post pictures. YIPEE!!!)
